Build was easy once you figure out items as depicted in the pictures as there is no written words. On the negative, there are no drawer groves or pull slots so it can be difficult to open the drawers. Unfortunately, I bought this at the store with both of the boxes that it includes and went home to put it together it was missing many different parts. Both hardware and major structure pieces. Lots of drawer space,and good amount of drawers.
If you prefer a traditional look, consider a shaker or wide dresser with intricate designs, architectural flourishes, silver handles and detailed carvings to match. Contemporary styles are characterized as having clean geometric lines without much detail. They fit with changing trends because they do not have many embellishments, like mirrored dressers.

Other than that it, serves its purpose. We have a Malm dresser in one room and thought this would be a good choice for a smaller room. The drawers have a safety mechanism that prevents them from being pulled out. Great, but it also means the drawers don't open very far. Also, the drawers are incredibly shallow. My teenager couldn't fit more than two pairs of pants folded in a drawer.
Plus the drawers aren't on runners, so it feels like grating every time you open them. Overall, might be good for young kids or if you don't need to actually put much stuff in the drawers. But otherwise this is not a good choice.

The material is typical IKEA quality, but I wish they spent more time designing a more stable drawer. The bottom/floor of the drawer is and always has been very flimsy. Do not expect to be able to store anything other than light weight items in here. If you thought about placing books or anything that weighs more than 5 pounds it would certainly fall through.

All attempts to adjust these brackets accordingly have been futile. I needed an alternative due to another product not being in stock. Although this looks similar it’s smaller.
