You will want to be comfortable considering the recruitment process is a long day. At my school , we were provided with two T-shirts to wear for the first 3 days of recruitment. Our Panhellenic Association doesn't allow chapters to wear the same shirt or order identical outfits for recruitment. Our continuing membership chair went out on a limb this formal recruitment and used color schemes instead of telling us specific pieces to wear. For example, for one of our parties we could wear any combination of brown, white, pink, or purple. It sounds weird but it looked really cool because the color scheme was aesthetically pleasing and made us look unified without making us look cookie-cutter.

The dress code is semi-formal, but think more along the lines of a fancy wedding, not a high school dance. In contrast to other sorority rush week dresses, preference night lets you be a little bolder.

Be the truest form of yourself because in the first time in a while, no one cares who you were in high school. Recruitment is such a fun way to start off the school year- you meet brand new friends going through exactly what you are, you look pretty, and you talk to really cool girls.

College Panhellenic society organizations are definitely worth your time in college and will benefit you even beyond graduation.
